Virtual Platforms
The 2021 IEEE World Haptics Conference (WHC 2021) makes use of two virtual platforms: X-CD and Wonder. X-CD is the virtual conference platform used for most content of the online conference, including all the workshops, posters, demos, talks, live Q&A sessions, etc. Wonder is the online gathering platform used for virtual breaks and social events. Please see below for instructions to connect to X-CD and Wonder. Note that Chrome is the strongly recommended browser for accessing the virtual conference platforms.

Login Instructions for X-CD
The easiest way to connect to X-CD, our virtual conference platform, is to use the personalized direct link that was sent to you by email. This link allows you to connect to the platform without entering an email or password. Note that you may briefly see a text box asking you to enter an email address – this page will quickly be replaced by the content of the virtual conference platform as you are allowed in.
If you have registered for the conference but have not received this email, please look for it in your spam or quarantine folder. If you are using Microsoft Outlook 365, you can find your quarantine folder here. Note that this email has the subject line “Login information” and that the sender is WHC 2021 (noreply@xcdsystem.com).
You can also connect to X-CD using the link below. If you have connected to X-CD with the same computer and browser before, you will be automatically allowed in. If you are connecting for the first time, you will be asked to enter an email address. Your personalized direct link will be re-sent to this email address if it associated with a registered attendee.
Chrome is the recommended browser for accessing the virtual conference platform. Please make sure that the “Block all cookies” option is disabled since the platform uses cookies to control access.

Please use this link below to access Wonder, our online gathering platform. Note that a password is required for access! You can find this password in the Wonder FAQ on the virtual conference platform.
